In memory of Ian

Dear Ian,

Today is a full moon and we are planting a tree for you. It's a lemon, one day soon we will make a gin and tonic with your lemons and make a toast to you.

Thank you with all our heart for all your support and hard work, mad woodworking skills, for giving us more than you needed to, for just getting on with it and carrying on when others had flagged, and for always having a cuppa to hand ☕️.

Nearly always one of the first arrivals onsite, sleeping on the floor of the barn before we could pitch our tents. Never the slightest grumble, and always providing the best and silliest of laughs.

Not just during the build, but all the way through each event, your keen eye would spot problems before they happened and you were constantly on duty weaving through the melee with a smile fixing and tidying away so everyone could enjoy themselves.

You will always be part of our crew.

We miss you already.
