Bill Brewster
Whether he’s taking the roof off a club with his unique selection of deep and tough house mu-sic, enchanting a backroom with a genre-bending set of disco, Balearic, rock and hip hop or playing chillout music in a bay in Croatia, Bill Brewster is the man for all occasions.
In a former life, Bill was a punk rocker, a chef and also the co-editor of football magazine When Saturday Comes but has been a record nerd all of his life. He began DJing in the 1980s, but came into his own in the early 1990s, particularly during a two-year stint in New York running DMC’s office, where nights at the Sound Factory and hanging out with Danny Tenaglia gave him the musical grounding you can still hear in his music today. Bill was also one of the found-ing residents at Fabric in London, a position he held for five years. There are few still playing regularly today that have his dedication, eclecticism and encyclopaedic knowledge of music.
His parallel life is as a writer and with his long-term partner-in-crime Frank Broughton they have written four books together, including the acclaimed Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (new edi-tion out July 2022), How To DJ (Properly) and their most recent The Record Players. The pair were also behind the legendary money-drain DJhistory.com and their party, Low Life, has been running for over a quarter of a century. They now spend most of their time on a dinghy moored on the Rochdale Canal.
He has been working in the industry’s fringes for nearly 40 years including the running of vari-ous labels from Twisted UK and Forensic in the ’90s to Disco Sucks and Anorak in the nough-ties. Occasionally Bill finds time to secrete himself away in a studio to make music or cook up edits. And when he’s not doing any of that he has a family and a dog called Mavis to tend to. He is currently working on a secret project involving badgers, GM crops and disco.

Stomping, hypnotic two-steps, mournful waltzes telling of heartache and despair so sad they make you happy, and a bit of blues - all sung in Cajun French. The music is uplifting and infectiously danceable – bringing audiences of all ages up on their feet and onto the dance floor.
Line up for Awamu Together 2020:
Lucy Vines – vocals, Cajun accordion
Fliss Premru – vocals, fiddle
Miriam Hogan – vocals, acoustic guitar
Carol Wilson – drums

Tom Blip
Via his globally influenced label, Blip Discs, Tom Blip’s debut record ‘Wrong Guanco’ spent nearly a year providing everyone from Bonobo to Joy Orbison with their peak time drum workout at sets across the world. The eclecticism of this musical imprint gives somewhat of a hint of his wide tastes as a selector, and has rightfully put the young DJ on the map.

DJ Yidah
Moving people onto dancefloors, out of their heads and into their hearts, is the goal of Trinidadian born-London based DJ YIDAH. No stranger to the music scene, YIDAH received an unorthodox baptism of fire into the entertainment industry, growing up in a musically fragrant family and working alongside her mother in live concert and festival events throughout her teen years. Trinidad & Tobago being an island party capital and a melting pot of races, cultures, flavours and sounds.
Having come from a dance, drama and visual arts background, stepping into the DJ scene in 2020 seemed like a natural progression for YIDAH. Her DJ friend gave her a 3-week crash course and YIDAH booked her first club event. Four club gigs later, she was gaining recognition as a young emerging female DJ 'to look at' on TT underground music scene. YIDAH’S sets boast of intoxicating progressive house, afro house, nu-disco, afro beat, fused with elements of hip hop, dancehall, and soca, depending on the event.
YIDAH was featured on a national level in the Trinidadian national newspaper Newsday amidst the buzz surrounding her eclectic DJ sets. In Sept 2020 she left Trinidad for Point Blank Music School in London to embark on a DJ/Producer Diploma. Since graduating from Point Blank, she has curated guest mixes for Tehran Radio, Reprezent Radio, SOTU Nights, DJ LBEE’s Sunset Lockdown Series and AFTT. In 2020, she also launched her first DJ/fashion brand collaboration with TT design house Willow & Oak, creating a platform for the YIDAH COLLECTION.
In early 2022, she was selected by Bill Brewster for a mentorship scheme, which will help her step up to the next level. YIDAH brings a fresh and unique vibe to the DJ world and is passionately exploring the international music scene with an intent to rock festival stages, clubs and events as a breakthrough DJ in 2022.

Kemet are legendary, and head honcho and producer Mark X has agreed to do a live PA for us at Together 2022 !
With Chatta B on the decks and vocals from Junior Dangerous, the show will include a live PA of their soon to be released new version of one of their biggest underground anthems!

BUNKR
The origin of BUNKR was the result of a happy accident. Back in 2017 Brighton (UK) based musician and producer James Dean (also known for his work under his Lost Idol guise) was tasked with making a chilled out house track for a TV commercial for German sausages. Whilst his track didn't make the ad, it did unintentionally set him off on a path of writing zoned out house music and bubbling melodic techno as BUNKR.
Skip to the now and BUNKR activity continues apace. He contributed a track to the highly lauded Castles In Space compilation The Isolation Tapes (Electronic Sound magazine's compilation of the year in 2020), whilst recent live shows have seen him playing alongside Soccer96, Thomas Ragsdale, Leafcutter John and Alex Banks.
His second album Graveyard Orbit was released in October 2021 and took his sci-fi techno approach deeper into the electronic cosmos, thematically providing reflections on man-made waste and our own longevity. Or as one reviewer summed it up, “a dazzling, tone-rich journey that captures the moments when life ends and the story just begins”.
“Fans of classic ambient explorations along the lines of The Orb and Tom Middleton should find plenty to savour” - Cyclic Defrost

Clone+Cord
Joss Johnson (Four Eyed Clone) and Cordelia Meh (Gypsy Squat Pop Project) join forces to create one big mutated head of house techno pop noise.

IntroducingLive (doing Daft Punks' Discovery)
IntroducingLive Recreate ‘Discovery’ – Twenty-One Years On..
Still reeling from the news that Daft Punk have called it quits?
Can’t quite believe it’s 21, yes, twenty-one years since Daft Punk’s enduring masterpiece ‘Discovery’ came out?
Wishing you could hear those tunes on a big system, played by real humans just one more time?
Well, we have good news..
IntroducingLive are back. After a bit of a hiatus (haven’t we all) and after having fun at Together in 2017, they are coming back to Together 2022 to commemorate 21 years of ‘Discovery’.
To recap: IntroducingLive are a unique live prospect. They stage whole albums previously thought un-performable.
Their first project, to huge acclaim, was recreating DJ Shadow’s 100% sampled classic ‘Endtroducing’. Since then they went on to recreate Mr Scruff’s back catalogue, but now they have done their ‘homework’ to nail every last robotic detail of the French duo’s massive ground-breaking album 100% LIVE!
Having previously performed for Rob Da Bank’s Radio 1 show, live at Maida Vale, this six-piece band will be playing Daft Punk’s 2001 ‘Discovery’ album live from start-to-finish. With one or two extra Daft classics thrown in for good measure.
Catch IntroducingLive’s Daft Punk show whilst you can. After this one, there is still a rumour that they’ll be having a go at a new project..

Darkly A.M.
Darkly A.M. is probably better known as Mark Daly from the Sheffield based electronic downtempo duo Animat. In 2021 following the sad, shocking and sudden death of Michael Harding, Darkly A.M.’s musical partner for over 10 years , he decided to take a break from music. Six months later Darkly A.M. started writing music again after Michael’s widow told him that “..Michael wouldn’t want you to stop making music because he is not around.”
Since then his music has taken a new direction, allowing him to venture into different sonic territory whilst still staying true to the electronic ethos. With a long term yearning to make more dancefloor focused music that never really surfaced in Animat, Darkly A.M. has started to have some success with his early solo releases. If you like your electronic dance music to have emotion and depth, you should check his live set this weekend.

Bombay Monkey
In a world, where music and video collide, one band (and their VJ) mix science, magic and mathematically themed sunglasses, to create beat-laden pop songs with heavy bass lines and slightly awkward dance moves.
Now, for the first time in history, the team that brought you 'Dark Flow', 'Vanish', 'Time Travellers' and the unforgettable '130 Astronauts' (featuring legendary DJ: Mr. Thing) are playing out with a bad-ass drummer.
