Awamu Barnstorm: You smashed it!

Massive thanks to everyone who got behind our Awamu Barnstormer.

It was an amazing joyful weekend and together we raised over £9000 for Awamu’s work with vulnerable girls in the slums of Kampala.

We are ecstatic, and every penny will go directly to our work supporting vulnerable girls to recover and thrive.

We want to thank all of you for your hard work, generosity and kindness!

This year we are extra specially grateful to Andrew, Jarvo & Fergus, Doug, Adam & Glen (and their families) without whom we would never have been able to go ahead.

And of course each and every one of you that took part this year. What amazing humans, we really appreciate every single effort you all made to make sure the party was such a success.

Thank you for the music, the laughs, the dances, the hugs, the heavy lifting, and everyone who quietly keeps things moving smoothly behind the scenes, with the rotas, the bins and loos, the raffle sales, the auctioning, the coffee, the cakes, and the legendary toasties!!!
